Sometimes you hear one tune and it carries you away forever. Today is the Birthday of the person behind the music that carried me away on travels, into new friendships, new countries, into making music again, into composing again, into playing live again, and feeling alive again in general.
Happy Birthday, Peter Hayes of Black Rebel Motorcycle Club! May all the dreams you have come true. May you travel to where you haven’t yet, have safe journeys, and may the words to describe those come easily to you.
